Lewis began his golfing journey through competitions like Young Masters Golf, Clubgolf, and the Scottish Golf Academies, which inspired him to pursue a professional career. He studied Professional Golf at the University of the Highlands and Islands, earning his degree in 2022 and achieving success on the course, including a Scottish University Team Championship title.

As part of The Duke’s team, Lewis works with golfers of all levels, providing tailored coaching to help students improve their game step by step. His passion for golf and focus on creating memorable learning experiences make him a perfect guide for students at our summer school looking to develop their skills.

We have used the facilities at The Dukes Course for nearly 20 years, and we are incredibly lucky to have access to their team of PGA professional golf coaches.

The team at the Dukes have years of rigorous training and assessment through the Professional Golfers’ Association, as well as in depth local knowledge of the courses in St Andrews.

Whether students are complete golf beginners or an aspiring scratch golfer, the Dukes Course team can help identify what needs to improve and how to get there. Their ability to break down movements into manageable steps and run practical drills that actually work makes learning faster, a lot more enjoyable, and ultimately more successful.

For anyone serious about starting off in golf or improving their game, the team at the Dukes Course will get results.
