Welcome to ISSOS – the experience of a lifetime!
Since 2005, ISSOS has been creating unforgettable summers for students aged 13–18 from around the world. Founded by our CEO Jen Munro, our award-winning summer schools combine top-class academics with exciting electives and a full programme of activities – all set in world renowned university campuses.
Every student who joins ISSOS builds their own unique experience. Whether it's Youth Leadership and Tennis or Debate and Photography, our programmes let you explore your interests while developing new skills, building confidence and making friends from all over the world. With students from over 80 nationalities and a limit of 10% per nationality at each session, ISSOS is a truly international community.
Why We Started
Jen came up with the idea for ISSOS after working at a summer camp in the USA. She wanted to take the best parts of camp life – the fun, the friendships, the adventure – and combine them with high-quality academic classes to create something completely different.
From our very first session in St Andrews with just 51 students, ISSOS has grown to welcome over 600 students each summer across four sessions at St Andrews, Cambridge, and Yale. Each of these historic universities offers a safe, beautiful, and inspiring setting – and a chance to experience life at some of the most respected institutions in the world.
