Emily

Emily

Emily joined ISSOS as our Journalism teacher for the first time in summer 2024.

She has a master’s degree in Media, Communications, and International Journalism from Glasgow University, giving her a strong foundation in both theory and current teaching methods.

As the Editor in Chief of The Tab, she gained leadership and mentoring experience, working with new student journalists, teaching them essential journalist skills and providing constructive feedback. Emily has freelanced for Sky News and The i Newspaper. She has further experience working with young people after ten years of experience as a qualified swim instructor.

Molly

Molly

Molly-Rose is an award-winning journalist and audio producer passionate about identity and human rights. She has worked on podcasts, BBC pitches, and documentaries, and is skilled in Adobe Premiere and Audition. With a First Class Honours degree and a Masters in Audio Documentary, Molly-Rose brings creativity, empathy, and hands-on media expertise to her teaching.

Every year, we work incredibly hard to find the most inspiring and experienced team that we can to teach our Journalism summer programme.

The teachers we feature here might not be the exact person leading the class when you join us, but it gives you an idea of the kind of people that we employ for our Journalism programme.
