Dragons' Den

The Dragons’ Den evening is the finale of ISSOS’s Business & Entrepreneurship programme, where students pitch their unique ideas to a panel of ISSOS Dragons. Inspired by the TV show, it’s a chance to showcase creativity, teamwork, and innovation, while practising public speaking and presentation skills in front of the whole summer school community.

Dragons' Den evening at ISSOS is the culmination of three weeks of hard work for our B&E students, and it’s based on the same format as the popular TV show.

Throughout the 3 weeks, students work in small teams to create and develop their own, unique business idea. They work on a pitch and presentation for their business, and all teams are invited to present their ideas at the Dragons’ Den event in the final week of the programme.

Our ISSOS Dragons, judge each business idea based on factors like originality, sustainability credentials, values and social impact. At the end of the night, they award one team as the winner of the Dragons’ “investment”!

Our Dragons’ Den event is attended by the whole summer school campus, so it’s a great opportunity for students to not only show off their business idea, but to practise the public speaking and presentation skills they’ve been working on too.
