Meet some of our former and current staff and hear what they have to say about working at ISSOS!

Ishbel McFarlane, Creative Writing Teacher (St Andrews 2012, 2013)ISSOS is a wonderful bubble of a summer. You become firm friends with all your colleagues and it's great fun to have the freedom of all living in the same place and chatting, and hanging out together. The kids are overwhelmingly lovely and motivated. You couldn't ask for a nicer teaching job.

Katherine Freeman, Counselor (St Andrews 2013, 2014)ISSOS has given me a new group of very good friends and a lot of incredible memories. It's hard work and long hours but so rewarding and the most enjoyable job I think I'll ever have! I would do it every summer if I had the chance!

Ken Plas, Media Manager (Cambridge 2012, St Andrews 2013, Cambridge 2014)ISSOS is the best summer ever man. It has shown me that I can handle things, like keeping a large group of students focused and interested in their work. It has certainly led me to re-examine what I have learnt myself.

Cat Benton, Counselor (St Andrews 2011, 2012, 2013)Throughout the weeks working at ISSOS you really grow into the role of taking responsibility and being that person you want to be for your kids. The back up you get from your co-workers is a support that gives you confidence to enjoy the job rather than worry about it. I also really believe it brings out an incredibly good side of your personality - a creative, fun, sociable and enthusiastic side that is such a breath of fresh air.
