ISSOS Fundraise for CLIC Sargent
Date: May 19, 2015
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people and their families. They support children and young people up to the age of 24, who have cancer by providing clinical, practical and emotional help using specialist nurses, social workers, youth workers and play specialists.
On Wednesday 20 May, young cancer survivors across the country will be wearing wacky wigs as they support other families whose lives have been turned upside down by childhood cancer.
ISSOS, along with thousands of people of all ages, across schools, businesses and communities will be donning wigs for Wig Wednesday to raise money and show support for children and young people with cancer, many of whom lose their hair through gruelling cancer treatment.
So, if you want to see our MD and the rest of Head Office staff in pink wigs, look out for photographs tomorrow.
You can get involved too by donning a wig and doing some fundraising yourself or simply donating here: http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/content/donate
