Happy Burns Day
Date: January 25, 2010
For the final night meal at ISSOS, every year we pipe in a haggis where Burn's famous "Address To a Haggis" is read and the Haggis is cut open. Join us in 2010 and join in the Scottish celebrations of Robert Burns - Scotland's favourite son. Burns was a Scottish poet and a lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scot's language although much of his writing is also in English and a "light" Scots dialect, accessible to an audience beyond Scotland.
Happy Birthday Rabbie from ISSOS !
